HARRIET TUBMAN COMMEMORATIVE COIN PRoGRAM
Marketing campaign for the U.S. Mint’s $5 gold coins, $1 silver coins, and half dollar clad coins issued as part of the 2024 Harriet Tubman Commemorative Coin Program celebrating the bicentennial of Harriet Tubman’s birth. To read more about the program, check out the U.S. Mint website here.
My Involvement
As the creative lead for this campaign, I spearheaded the development of creative concepts and marketing deliverables from socials to HTML banner ads. Collaborating with two art directors, Kyle Butler and Mike Bendellini, I conceptualized and presented two distinct illustrative approaches for the campaign. Both concepts were enthusiastically approved by the U.S. Mint, allowing us to expand the campaign into two phases. I created all illustrations and hand-lettering used across the deliverables, ensuring a cohesive and visually compelling narrative that honored Harriet Tubman’s legacy.

Fun Fact: Coincidentally, a close family friend of mine played
a huge role in getting the bill for this program passed.
